This venue is a small, clean place with friendly staff from housekeeping to management, located in a beautiful area with a lovely restaurant.

The hotel was ideal and fairly clean with mostly pleasant and very pleasant staff from the house keeping to the management. Had a nice hot and free breakfast with option to pay extra, appreciated the meal.

The setting was very very poor.

It has magnificent setting to the nearest bus station.

The breakfasts served here are delicious and complimentary, featuring poached eggs, with the option to add extras for a fee.

The location was marvellous, close to hill and forest and easily accessible. We loved to have evening drinks at Cricketers, based nearby.

Thank you everyone for a very pleasant stay for 4 nights. The location of this hotel a short walk to Epping Forest and South Woodford was nice.- We saw the Winston Churchill Statue, which is at a medium distance from the venue.

Nothing, upon arrival I was told that there was a Christmas party being held fro 9pm until 1am. This was not advised when I first booked the room, had I known about this I would have chosen to stay somewhere else. Due to the party we could not sleep until gone 1am, and was then woken up by 8am, as the cleaners were hoovering. Theworst stay i have ever had in a hotel.

The staff was very nice. Breakfast was delicious. Bus stop nearby. . Overall, we were very satisfied.

The place was gorgeous. The staff were mostly pleasant and extremely polite.The rooms were large.We could park on site.The food in the restaurant was excellent.The restaurant was good.

The complimentary breakfast here was satisfying, featuring warm pancakes and the option to upgrade.

The reception staff was unconscionable in their behavior. One, in particular, exhibited the most insupportable, discourteous conduct we've ever encountered. Staff the next morning tried to apologize for her, but their efforts were generally artificial and their obvious condescension hovered just below their words. We had just travelled all over England and Scotland, staying in wonderful hotels every night, settling our bills the next morning. You must pay up front at the County Hotel, and if you pay with cash, they demand a 20 pound deposit, the default being that you will damage the room. We heartily suggest that you do not stay at this hotel. It is a truly wretched experience, one that puts a real pall on your stay in a beautiful country filled with beautiful people. You'll find no beautiful people, nor rooms, here.

The location was secluded and quiet

Internet reception and mobile phone reception was very weak. the breakfast arrangement was poorly managed, coach groups flooded the buffet without consideration of/or organisation by the staff of a controlled line. by the time i managed to get any breakfast i returned to find that my table had been taken by a group from the coach.

Decent prices and great staff make this place worth it. 🌟 At 6:30, I tried to speak with the manager and they were very helpful.

The location and the staff were great. Very helpful and very friendly.

The equipment of the rooms is quite old..shower head was defective, no toilet brush, no mixer tap at the washbasin, map to the door was defective from time to time.
